In late October, A Millennial’s Guide to Saving the World will turn four.
That’s a pretty solid chunk of time for a thing to exist, and it’s fair to say that I’ve been thinking and talking about this project on and off the air for a long time…
However. More often than not, when someone asks me to explain what the podcast is about, even to this day, the answer I give always feels off.
Whether I over explain or oversimplify, I’ve yet to come up with a sentence or two that hits just right.
So, I am turning to you, my brilliant audience and community for help.
If someone were to ask you to explain what A Millennial’s Guide to Saving the World was about in one or two sentences, what would you say?
It’s about you, the people you meet, and the authentic and genuine way you want to relate to them. It’s about your lives and whatever honesty, sincerity, and truth comes from that.
Either you or Erin once said on whore rapport that everything you talked about on that episode was about living authentically. To me that means being as honest as you can handle, which is something Chris said on a thread about non monogamy. I like to think my mind is just chalk full of wisdom from yours, bursting at the seams.
I do see your podcast as a story about living as authentically as possible in these troubled times. Few podcasters make it such a priority to do this, but you do it very well Anya.
The type of podcast that has you feeling blissfully anxious as you pick up a cigarette involuntarily.
