Hello! Welcome to my very first Substack newsletter… I’m coming to you live from Kaş, Turkey, a gorgeous little town on the Mediterranean. After three months in Thailand I’m definitely feeling some culture shock, not to mention the shock of this cold, dry weather after so many months spent sweating in the heat and humidity of southeast Asia. However, I’m grateful for new scenery, new cuisine and the chance to eavesdrop on people speaking yet another language I don’t remotely understand.
